Daihatsu Fellow, that is.

I really wish that brand had taken off over here. They have some of the neatest cars.

I agree. From the Compagno to the Copen, a lot of cool, cheap little cars.

Daihatsu... Nowadays in Europe they've seem to be non-existent. They've even stopped importing it. I'd love me a midget though. But that one is not that lady-like...

Who?
Daihatsu

Did I tell you I had a Midget? It was called the Trimobile here. They're so fun and they're built like a real truck. Pretty sturdy and yet really rattley. Yeah, I think Daihatsu is just Japan, or maybe Southeast Asia now. Too bad.

Haha, I don't remember. But I'm not surprised at all as it's something I could buy in a heartbeat ;-)
Never knew it made it to the States. And I must go to Japan to see more of these!

Yeah, I don't know how many were exported, or even if they were road legal. I think they were mostly used on like universities and industrial facilities. Mine came from the Lockheed aircraft plant and then I sold it to someone in Japan. In the 90's they tried importing the Charade and the Rocky 4x4, but it was for a trial period and they didn't last long.

I think they stopped somewhere in 2013 over here. Charades, Rockies, Cuores, I even have a co-worker with a Copen over here!

I love the Copen. I've never seen one on person, though. They look so cool. I know they're not that quick, but I bet they're loads of fun.

Copens are fun, they weigh just 800kgs. We only got that 1st generation over here. Just a shame Daihatsu didn't make a real Cappuccino competitor as it's front wheel drive.
